Lucy Steen van der Schuit

Today I received a photo:  Raísa and her husband Michael Gorbatsjov with the Uralsky Jazz Band in De Beurs van Berlage in the ninetees. Our friend Igor Bourco was the leader of the band. I had not seen this photo yet, Sirjozja!. The occasion: Het Groene Kruis / The Green Cross.

The mosaic pavingstone I made was placed in the pavement before my mother's (93) house. It shows a vessel with 4 port-holes, 4 children. The translation of vessel in Dutch: schuit; our familyname is 'van der Schuit'. My ancestors come from Harlingen, Friesland.
