Lucy Steen van der Schuit

To-day I visited the exhibition of the deceased Jan Makkes (I met him several times) at the Museumfarm. I stayed there for more than two hours talking to his widow Elly about Jan's drawings, paintings and visits all around the world. Translating the text of Jan's Russian poster (Elly didnot know yet what the text meant) into Dutch was a pleasure.
