Last Friday,  the 12th of October 2012, I had a rendez-vous in Le Pouldu (next to the memorial of Paul Gauguin, Meyer de Haan and other painters who lived and worked in this lovely Breton village) in the chapel Notre Dame de la Paix (Holy Mother of Peace) about my project 'Vincent van Gogh and The Beslan Child'. The little drawings (8x8cm) and oilpaintings (13x18cm) will be exposed in this beautiful Peace-chapel in 2013. When I passed this chapel several years ago I felt that this would be the ideal location for my project. It was amazing to find out the name of the chapel: Holy Mother of Peace. The combination of project and chapel remind me of Tolstoy's book: War and Peace.
