Lucy Steen van der Schuit

Johan van Beem, the resistance-man who lived in our house, has now, after 72 years, his own gravestone (made of a tile which was lying in our garden) on the cemetary of Mirow, Germany. Thanks to his grandson Hans van Beem. The ceremony was attended by many people and filmed by the German broadcasting station.
