Two days ago, on the 16th of October (the warmest 16th Oct. éver in Holland) I made little drawings of the Noordzee and the happy, free people walking on the beach. Such a difference with Juno beach, Corseulles, where I was drawing a few weeks ago. Só many people gave their lives for our freedom on these beaches of Normandy in 1944.
