In May (18th) the 13th Vijfhoekkunstroute starts. This 'artexplosion' in the old city-centre of Haarlem has chosen Misfortune as subject. But my poem (of the 3rd of April) is a bit different.

My Pont-Aven-sac is filled with aquarel-brushes, bister, aux-trois-crayons chalk, fixative, bistered paper etc. for we are going to De Kweektuinen to draw the birds and tropical plants. Stroopwafels and boterbabbelaars are in the bag too, mmm . . .
