100 JAAR STAAL HOOGOVENS
An impressive museum: Museum Hoogovens. There was even an old drawing board (with drawinghook and rulers) like the one I used at the Fluor-office in the 60-ies, more than 50 years ago. In those days our A0/A1 drawings (sometimes more than 7 meters long, for a.o. ir. Mr. Gibson) were made in ink (on OC & kalkpapier, with rapidograph) and crayons (H, H2, B etc.). The text was written in 3mm (Aramco, Lycra) and Italic 3.5/2.5mm (Fluor). Is thát where the use of the tiny 0/00-brushes for my 13x18cm paintings comes from?
