FLUOR IN THE 60-IES & 70-IES
1971 To-day I found an old postcard from London:
Miss Lucy van der Schuit, p/a Fluor Nederland N.V. afd. Flowsheets, J.J. Hamelinkstraat 4-6, Haarlem Holland.
2020: Searching Fluor on the internet: the first Fluor building in Haarlem is about to be demolished 😥
60-ies: Colleagues came from all over the world (20 nationalities). The drawings were completely made by hand in ink (rapidograph) and pencil. The texts were written in the traditional Fluor 3.5mm handwriting. John Z. singing very happily 'we all live in a yellow submarine' Piet G. 'Lucy in the sky with diamonds' and Klaas Schuytvlot (MTO employee and drummer) 'wie is Loesje' 🎶. Jaguar E-types of English freelancers before the building. I always went to work on my Kaptein Mobylette . . .
