Lucy Steen van der Schuit

From Hoorn where once stood uncle Jaap's farm in the middle of the town (Vollerswaal) we went to Wijdenes and Oosterleek to visit the grave (a véry small graveyard) of Jan Steen & Antje Steen-Leegwater, grandparents. Standing in the sunny harbour of Enkhuizen it was a real pleasure to sketch the ships and after that to visit the Dromedaris to admire this monument with its paintings.
