To witness today the arrival of The Olympic Flame in Sainte Mère Église, (the first liberated village in La Manche Normandy, WWII) a historic event in the midst of so many enthusiastic americain soldiers (the 80th D-Day) and French civilians, was a privilege. Sitting under the 'parachutiste' John Steele before the church, 'JO bfmtv Normandie' even made me (a tiny) part of their broadcast.
