'Boy Playing the Violin' (my favourite and beautifully framed) was one of the lovely, loose and lively painted masterpieces by our* Frans Hals in Het Rijksmuseum.

Many paintings I had never seen before (a.o. The Laughing Cavalier), not even in The Frans Hals Museum.
