To read and examin the WWII letters of my family (Arnold & Sjoerd Baukes van der Schuit), to paint 'Vincent, Gauguin, Meijer and Ilja' or to draw in my Artbook-diary is a difficult choice at the moment because the railway sleeper on top of the iron meadow-window needs repainting in Bretonblue as well. The iron postbox needs to be painted and the painting on the cave-doors of Lénaïk has to be varnished. But . . . the letters, written 80 years ago, are of course priority number 1.
