On May 31st of this year we visited The Airborne Museum in Saint Mère Église again (the first time, in 2013, it was still allowed to park our T3 Volkswagen before the museum). There was a statue on the square before the church, not yet unveiled.

Today, after admiring the little oilpaintings of Jan Mankes in Museum Arnhem, we walked to The Airborne Museum of Hartenstein: 'Operation Market Garden'. Especially the courage of Kate ter Horst in WWII, The Angel of Arnhem, made a big impression on us.
