DE LUCHTBALLON (THE AIR BALLOON) TEYLER MUSEUM

The exhibition touched my soul. It inspired me to write a message on a balloon to my organist-friend and to write and draw a message to Leo, who was a wellknown man (chairman of KZOD) in Haarlem. The balloons are hanging at the exhibition The Air Balloon of Teylers Museum now.

LINO-PRINTS

My granddaughter and I made a lino-cutting on the original linoleum. The printing with this material is always a surprise. Thirza was so enthousiastic about it! Teaching and working with her was a real pleasure for an art-granny.

THE POEM OF THE DOLL IS PUBLISHED

Twelve years after starting my project of The Child & Doll a poem is made and published. Now it is also the right time to translate the story of 'Josette of Ker Louise' into French for my Breton friends. I wish I could speak Breton!

MUSEUMBOERDERIJ JAN MAKKES

In my Dutch Daf 32 (bought in Versailles) I drove to the Museumboerderij, which is nearby. It was, as always, a real pleasure. Not only to admire Jan's paintings but also the warm welcome of Elly. She told me that she had been in my house (many years ago) to buy flowerbulbs.

JOHAN CRUYFF

To-day and the weeks to come, Holland and Cataluña (ten-thousands of people) are paying their last respects to one of the greatest footballplayers the world has ever known, El Salvador Johan Cruyff, who died 4 days ago in his favourite town, Barcelona. Shall Camp Nou (Estadi Johan Cruyff) and the Amsterdam Arena (Cruyff Arena) change their names to honour The Flying Dutchman?

VAN GOGH: 'LICHTE ZEDEN' EXHIBITION

On the 12th of March we were received at the Van Gogh with a lecture by Michelle and very special drinks and pastries. Drawings of a.o. Vincent, Toulouse-Lautrec, paintings of our Cees van Dongen and many others were exposed in a perfect setting.

REMBRANDTHUIS

The exhibition at The Rembrandt House Museum 'Naked Truth' shows how, in Rembrandts days, naked models were drawn by Rembrandt and his pupils. Eric showed us how Rembrandt made his etchings on Gampi (Japanese) paper. Good luck with your June-exhibition in Breizh, Eric!
