'NOUS ENSEMBLE' EST EXPOSÉE

The painting gave me só much pleasure because I did not know where it would end. Michèl, the journalist, asked me: "how many people did you paint?" I painted people that I met (or sháll meet). Except for one . . . a Breton.

It shall only be exhibited in safe buildings (at this moment in a special, warm Martinique house) since the little oilpainting of Vincent and The Child is 'lost'.

SHARED STORIES

We só much enjoyed our crêpes in La Résidence de Penanros (Pont-Aven) with Marie-Thérèse et les autres habitants. The shared stories of our parents in WWII (Brest and Rotterdam were terribly damaged and A.'s Mother had to flee with the children from Normandie while my father (Torgau) and grandfather (Oranjehotel) were prisoners of war) shall never be forgotten. WHERE ARE THE LITTLE PAINTING AND 'EN ARWEN'?

Où est la petite peinture à l'huile de Vincent, L'Enfant de Beslan et La Statue de La Liberté??? Where is the little 13x18 oilpainting (painted with véry small brushes : 0 & 000) of Vincent van Gogh, The Beslan Child (& Doll) and The Statue of Liberty?? It was exhibited in a Town hall, a public building!! Will the person who 'took care of it' please return it, including the little easel and the linoprint 1/

IK SCHILDER DE TIJD

spiegel van stenen in zware muren

betrouwbare balken leggen hun wil op

een raam in glazend licht gluurt naar binnen

ik schilder de tijd die zojuist vertrok

waaraan ik mijn herinnering gaf

de zwaluw zwenkt over het koolzaad

dat geel uit de zon zuigt

mijn hand groeit omhoog, ontmoet

een libel-in-het-blauw

dan komt de slaap

die het penseel verdonkeremaant

100 JAAR STAAL HOOGOVENS

An impressive museum: Museum Hoogovens. There was even an old drawing board (with drawinghook and rulers) like the one I used at the Fluor-office in the 60-ies, more than 50 years ago. In those days our A0/A1 drawings (sometimes more than 7 meters long, for a.o. ir. Mr. Gibson) were made in ink (on OC & kalkpapier, with rapidograph) and crayons (H, H2, B etc.).  The text was written in 3mm (Aramco, Lycra) and Italic 3.5/2.5mm&nbs
